The Cyber Defense Command is looking for a Developer (DevSecOps) for the Operational Department.

Main Responsibilities

As a developer within the Cyber Defense Command, you will work in an operational environment where your technical skills and experiences are placed in both a tactical and strategic context. Together with your colleagues, you will develop and drive the Swedish Armed Forces' technical development to improve technical support for command and situational awareness within cyber defense and for cyber operations.

You will participate in the department's work with requirements gathering, technical specifications, and technical development together with other parts of the Cyber Defense and the Swedish Armed Forces.

The work includes international and national collaborations.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience in development within complex environments and/or the IT security field.
• Extensive experience in development, especially in Python (automation, API integration, pipelines) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience as DevSecOps with CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Docker, including building, hardening, troubleshooting, and Kubernetes for deployments and networking.
• Good knowledge of operating systems and networks such as Linux and TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), BGP, and TLS.
• Basic knowledge of threat models (MITRE ATT&CK) and logging/telemetry.
• Experience in technical development work in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Degree from a college, university, or equivalent qualifications.

Meritorious

• Experience with security platforms and integration such as SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and building API integrations between tools.
• Experience in developing systems for cybersecurity, situational awareness, and/or redundant/complex systems.
• Documented experience in cybersecurity, cyber operations, or equivalent.

Other

The position is full-time, permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is open for both civilian and military personnel. The workplace is in Stockholm.
